Lions assure the public

Quote: "One of the outstanding contributions that the Lions Club has made is the beautiful 90-acre tract of land in the Fay Estate section which is reserved for the exclusive use of Girl Scouts and their various outdoor projects.
The Land was purchased in 1945... During the past seven years funds were raised by the Lions and earmarked for the development of Camp lion.
Actually, the drive for funds by the Lions was a unique one, taking a page from the US government's book, they began a bond drive, asking all citizens to purchase bonds for the new camp. Members of the Lions Club assured the public that the bonds would be non-reemable and would not pay-off any interest but rather would be gift-edged for rich dividends for a worthy cause that would benefit the youth of Greater Lynn for years ahead."
